Vote For PNE Pair In North West Football Awards

27 September 2016

PNE's Greg Cunningham and Alan Browne are both in the running for awards at the MBNA North West Football Awards.

Cunningham is nominated for the Championship Player of the Year, with Alan Browne up for the Rising Star award.

Both players picked up accolades from the club at the end of the 2015/16 campaign, with Cunningham collecting the Player Of The Year and the Players' Player of the Year awards, with Browne picking up the Young Player of the Year.

Cunningham has been a consistent presence at left back since joining the club last summer, and was a big factor in PNE's fantastic first season back in the Championship last season.

The 25-year-old capped off a terrific season with two awards at the end of the campaign, and will be looking to make it a hat-trick with the Championship Player of the Year award later this year.

Browne has continued to progress in midfield since joining the club in January 2014, and proved he was capable of stepping up to the next level last season in the Championship.

At just 21-years-old, there's surely more to come from the Republic of Ireland U21s international if he continues to progress at the same rate.

Voting is open now and will close at 12pm on Friday 21st October 2016, so make sure you place your votes and support the boys.
