Preston North End will be holding a community day again this year in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, on Sunday 30th April.
Manager Simon Grayson's charity match will be the main attraction at Deepdale on the day and those who attend will be able to see the gaffer's select Xl take on a team of fans who generously donated to Prostate Cancer UK to take part.
The bidding for places on the fans' team took place on eBay with over £5,000 raised for the charity already. Just some of the stars that will be in action on the day include ex-pros Paul McKenna, Mark Lawrenson, Sean Gregan, Neil Mellor, Kevin Davies, David Dunn and Peter Beagrie; singer Paul Heaton, guitarist Chris Edwards from Kasabian, TVs Fenners from Soccer AM, Coronation Street's Colson Smith, ex-England cricketer Andrew Flintoff and of course the manager himself.
Those in attendance on the day will also get to watch the presentations of the 2017 player of the year awards during half-time of the charity game, so make sure you head down to Deepdale to help celebrate what has been a fantastic season already.
The day will start at 12noon where the first team squad will be in the Invincibles Lounge to meet the fans and sign autographs. Between 12noon and the match kicking off at 2pm, there will be plenty for the family to do around the ground.
There will be a magician to keep the crowds entertained, a cupcake sale, face painting for the kids, the kiosks will be open for refreshments and there will also be an opportunity to buy memorabilia from the club shop.
The Game pods on the concourse will also be available to keep fans entertained by playing FIFA17, and depending on the weather on the day, there will be a chance to take part in a penalty shoot out!
So make sure you join us for what is sure to be a fantastic event for the whole family while raising money for a very worthy cause and one close to the gaffer's heart.
For those who are unable to attend, the match will be streamed live on PNE PlayerHD with full commentary, which will also show the player of the year presentation.
