If I Wasn't A Footballer... Josh Earl

8 August 2017

As a new feature in this season's matchday programme The One And Only, we asked members of the first team squad what they would be doing if they weren't professional footballers.

Each programme will feature a different player from Alex Neil's squad, with a selection of images of the players doing what they would be doing if they weren't representing Preston North End.

Had Josh Earl not followed his dream of being a footballer, the Academy graduate would have chosen to be a firefighter and so we headed to Fulwood Fire Station, part of the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, to make that happen for a day.

As well as being fully dressed for action, Josh was able to try out the breathing apparatus and test his firefighting skills with the hose.

The club would like to thank Fulwood Fire Service for welcoming us to the station and for taking the time to share their knowledge with Josh.

Make sure you pick up a copy of The One And Only at the Reading fixture for just £3 to see which player is next!
