The Preston North End Community and Education Trust are recruiting for a Community Inclusion Officer to expand on its inclusion programmes.

Programmes the successful candidate will deliver on will include - but are not limited to Preston North End's Premier League Kicks and Girls Football Programme.

The role, delivered in association with Places for People requires somebody who is enthusiastic, skilled and passionate about coaching in a community sports setting, sometimes working unsociable hours in hard to reach areas in Preston.

It is a full-time role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

⦁ Planning and delivery of sessions during community times (unsociable hours) in regular areas throughout Preston;
⦁ Working with young people to improve aspirations and wellbeing;
⦁ Developing participants and encouraging future volunteers;
⦁ Capturing and managing data for monitoring and impact purposes;

The community department is the part of the club that aims to connect with the community though various activities.

We aim to build better lives, inspire, educate, improve health and be inclusive to all groups. As a registered charity, we aim to engage as many people as we can, taking the good image of Preston North End FC out into the community.

Reporting directly to the Inclusion Manager, the chosen candidate must have a FA Level 2 in football coaching, In-date child protection certificate (or willingness to update/achieve asap); and an In-date first aid certificate (or willingness to achieve).

The closing date for this role is 5pm Thursday 7th September, and applications can be sent via email or post.
