Change To Matchday Coverage

7 July 2017

With the launch of the new website, we have changed the way the club covers matchdays online.

The new site features a match centre which will be utilised on a matchday in the build up to a game, during the match and after the final whistle.

The match centre will be visible on the home page of PNE.Com on the morning of the game, with a live blog with the latest news from the ground.

Ahead of every game there will be pre-match interviews with the manager and a member of the squad, a match preview and the match centre will also be the first place to catch the team news ahead of kick-off!

During the match we will provide live text commentary from the stadium, as well as live photos from the game.

After the game, we will have the key quotes from the gaffer as well as reaction from the team and much more.

Social media will still play a big part in our matchday coverage but there will no longer be a live text commentary on Twitter, this will instead be available on the match centre on PNE.Com.

Team news, goal updates and full-time scores will still be available on Twitter and Facebook as well as any key moments but the best way to follow the action will be here on PNE.com.

Instagram and Snapchat will also still be in use, providing behind the scenes access to the first team on a matchday as well as exclusive photos from the games.

You can find us on social media using the following:

Twitter - @pnefc

Facebook - OfficialPNEFC

Instagram - pnefcofficial

Snapchat - pnefcofficial

YouTube - pnefcofficial

If you can't make it to the games, remember we will also have live commentary on iFollow for UK subscribers, and those overseas will be able to watch the majority of league games live with the premium package!

Full details on iFollow, including the answers to any queries can be found be clicking here.

If you have any further questions on ifollow, please contact iFollow@efl.com.

The new coverage will start in the first pre-season friendly of the summer against Bamber Bridge this evening, and the game will be available for all subscribers to watch live on iFollow!

The live stream will be available from 6.45pm with build up from Jonathan Breeze and Ian Bryson. Please be aware that this will only be available on desktop.

Until the launch of the new iFollow App in the next couple of weeks, live streaming through a mobile or tablet device is not available.
