Contrary to some reports in the media, a short list of candidates for the vacant manger’s position at Preston North End is yet to be put together.
A large number of applications have been received, which are being fully assessed over the weekend.
Following on from this process a full interview schedule will be assembled and no interviews are planned for over the weekend.
Further progress is hoped to be made later next week.
