Bamber Bridge vs Preston North End Preview

6 July 2017

The pre-season gets underway the Sir Tom Finney Stadium on Friday night with Alex Neil watching his new charges for the first time, as they face Bamber Bridge.

Fixture: Bamber Bridge v Preston North End
Venue: The Sir Tom Finney Stadium
Post Code: PR5 6UU
Kick-Off: 7pm
Tickets: Cash turnstiles - adults £8, concessions £5, U16s £1
Coverage: iFollow Premium live stream Kit: Navy blue

The North End boss is expected to run his eye over the majority of the squad, with two teams set to play 45 minutes each in their trip to face the local non-league side.

The pitch at the ground formerly known as Irongate is in great shape and a large crowd is expected to see the new man at the helm of the Lilywhites oversee his first game since his appointment earlier in the week.

Players who missed the latter end of last season or had reparatory operations in the summer, such as Tom Barkhuizen and Greg Cunningham, are expected to return to first team action, whilst the game could be the chance to see some of the new recruits in a PNE shirt for the first time.

Sean Maguire and Kevin O’Connor have not yet joined up with their new team-mates, so will not be present, but the rest of the squad could be available for selection.

The game is a 7pm kick-off and if you cannot attend then iFollow’s premium service is operating a live stream.

This will be available for those with a premium subscription, on air from 6.45pm, with Jonathan Breeze and Ian Bryson providing coverage and analysis.

Those wanting to watch the game online, must do so via a desktop computer or laptop. Until the launch of the new iFollow App in the next couple of weeks, live streaming through a mobile or tablet device is not available.

For those wanting to attend the game the gates open at 5pm, with entrance available via cash turnstiles, priced at adults £8, concessions £5 and U16s £1 – all U16s must be accompanied by an adult.
