Preston North End are pleased to announce it has agreed a deal with Tempobet to become its new principal partner, with the online sportsbook’s logo to feature on the front of all first team shirts and adult replicas, along with extensive advertising around Deepdale.
The deal will also see the Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s logo feature on all junior replica kits and the youth team’s match kit for the 2017/18 season.
Tempobet CEO Tim Peters said of the deal: “This is a terrific opportunity to extend our horizons within football and are delighted to complete the deal with Preston North End.
“English football is a crucial part of our business and given PNE’s historic standing in the game, it’s a perfect fit. We’re excited about growing our relationship over the next 12 months.”
The club’s head of commercial and ticketing Olivia Hanvey added: “We are delighted to welcome Tempobet as our principal sponsor for the 2017/18 season and look forward to working with them to achieve their sponsorship ambitions.
“It is a great opportunity for Tempobet to showcase their brand and important for Preston North End to be able to attract companies with international reach like them.”
The Community and Education Trust manager Andy Haythornthwaite said: “After our rebrand and 30th anniversary celebrations last season we are delighted to have the chance to further promote the work of the Trust through this opportunity.
“The club’s charitable arm has never been as active in our local community and hopefully this will allow more people to become aware of the work being done and the opportunities for local people to engage with all our schemes.”
The sponsorship deal with the Lilywhites will ensure Tempobet features on the shirts of two Championship clubs next season, following the renewal of their contract with Burton Albion.
Tempobet.com was founded in 2007 and now offers a comprehensive live betting service, as well as casino, virtual games, binary options, and lottery.
It has sponsorship deals with sporting clubs and television stations across Europe and counts former Real Madrid star and World Cup winner Roberto Carlos among its brand ambassadors.
Following the signing of the deal, the club can also confirm that the new first team kits for the 2017/18 season will be unveiled on Friday, ahead of the team wearing the new home strip for Saturday’s home game against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The kit will then be on sale from the end of July, with an exact date to be announced in the next few days.
