Preston North End will host Newcastle United at Deepdale on Saturday 22nd July 2017, 3pm kick-off.
The fixture completes PNE's pre-season schedule ahead of the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The Magpies are familiar opponents after the teams clashed on three occasions last season, before Rafa Benitez's side went on to secure promotion to the Premier League, finishing the season as champions.
Benitez will bring his newly promoted side to Deepdale as they prepare for their return to the top flight.
The match will be the first chance supporters will get to see the club's summer signings at Deepdale.
The match is the first of two home games against Premier League opposition, with Lancashire rivals Burnley also visiting Deepdale on Tuesday 25th July.
