Grayson And McGeady Up For Monthly Award

North End manager Simon Grayson and winger Aiden McGeady have both been shortlisted for the Sky Bet monthly awards.

The pair have been nominated for the manager of the month and player of the month respectively after a terrific February for the Lilywhites.
 
The gaffer lead the team to an unbeaten run of five games, winning three, as PNE kept up the pace with the sides chasing the top six in the Championship.
 
It was a month where Republic of Ireland international Aiden McGeady showed just what he was capable of, scoring three fine individual goals and providing four assists.
 
The duo have tough competition for the accolades with Huddersfield Town's Izzy Brown, Brentford winger Jota and Kenneth Zohore of Cardiff City nominated alongside McGeady for the player award.
 
Manager Simon Grayson is up agaisnst Huddersfield boss David Wagner, Fulham's Slavisa Jokanovic and Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez.
 
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery
