Ahead of the visit of his former club to Deepdale, PNE PlayerHD co-commentator Paul McKenna thinks there are some vital games coming up.
And he will be taking the mic for the next seven upcoming games as well, and hopes to be watching the Lilywhites, for whom he made 470 appearances, make a late run for the Play-Offs as the team he was part of in 2008/09 did.
His role at North End has allowed him to see plenty of Simon Grayson’s men this term and after helping the club to two promotions five Play-Off finishes as a player, McKenna believes the current side will have a better idea of their promotion hopes in a few weeks’ time.
“I think we’ll know after Easter weekend how it’s going to go this year for Preston, but no matter what happens, they’ve had an unbelievable season.
“The manager has played really open, attacking football and got his rewards – they’ve done unbelievably.
"You look at the teams around them – the wage bills they’ve got compared to Preston, the fanbase and the size of clubs – it’s incredible that they’re up there and among that kind of standard of club.”
There's more from Paul on his time at Deepdale and his time as captain at Nottingham Forest in Saturday's edition of The One And Only - so make sure you pick up a copy and if you can't get to the game, you can listen to the North End legend from 2.30pm live on PNE PlayerHD.
