Preston North End’s trip to face Newcastle United at the end of April has been moved to Monday 24th April for live TV coverage.
The Lilywhites travel to the north east to take on Rafa Benitez’s Magpies at St James’ Park in their penultimate EFL Championship away game of the season.
The clash was originally scheduled for Saturday 22nd April, but has been put back to the Monday evening for live coverage on Sky Sports.
When the two sides met at Deepdale back in October, the game ended controversially, with Jermaine Beckford upended in the box in seventh minute of stoppage time, only for no penalty to be awarded, the visitors holding on for a 2-1 win.
Ticket details for the game will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
