An Audience With Peter Ridsdale

11 May 2017

You are invited to spend an evening with Peter Ridsdale in aid of Headway – the brain injury association.

The evening will be held on Thursday 6th July in the Invincibles Lounge at Deepdale from 7pm to 10.30pm.

There will be a drinks reception followed by a three course meal, with tickets priced at £65 per person.

A highly colourful character in English football, Peter was chairman of Leeds United during one of the most successful yet turbulent periods in the club's history.

He later spent five years as Chairman of Cardiff City leading them from the brink of bankruptcy towards the funding and building of their new stadium, reaching the FA Cup Final in 2008, the first time since 1927, and the Championship Play-Off final in 2010.

Peter left having sold the club to its current owner Vincent Tan and then five years ago Peter became advisor to the owner at Preston North End.

Peter will be appearing at a question and answer session to give a forthright view on his career in football and some of the biggest issues affecting the game today.

There will also be guest appearance from Jack Rutter, captain of Great Britain's Paralympic football team, who will be speaking on behalf of Headway.

Jack was denied a career in the professional game after suffering brain damage in a tragic incident in 2009, but the way he has dealt with the setback is a truly inspirational story.

Any questions in advance of the evening are welcome, and can be sent to events@burcherjennings.com
