The Lilywhites face Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday and that means locking horns with former Deepdale fan favourite Joe Garner.
The striker will come up against his boyhood club for the first time since moving in the summer of 2016 and ahead of facing his former team-mates he spoke to iFollow Ipswich and was looking forward to it.
“It’s a big game at home and hopefully we can take a big three points,” he told the Tractor Boys’ online TV channel.
“I’m looking forward to playing at the weekend. We are sat on the same points and it is a tough, tough league, where anyone can beat anyone and it is just down to who can take their chances.
“They [North End] have a couple of injuries at the moment, but they are a good set of lads. I had a really good time there, made some nice friends and met some good people.
“The promotion we gained was a real high point in my career, but that’s done now and I am concentrating on my time here and enjoying it.”
