PNE Nominated For Five Awards At North West Football Awards

There are five awards up for grabs for North End at Monday night's North West Football Awards in Manchester.

Ben Pearson is up for the Championship player of the year award, and faces competition from Wigan Athletic's Dan Burn and Derrick Williams of Blackburn Rovers.

Midfielder Alan Browne has made the six-man shortlist for the Rising Star of the Year award, and is up against Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester City's Phil Foden, Manchester United's Angel Gomes, Macclesfield Town's Mitch Hancox and Ben Tollitt.

Jordan Hugill is shortlisted for the Goal of the Year award, and voting closes at 10pm this evening, full details on how to vote can be found here.

The club are also finalists in the Best Club Marketing, Sponsorship and Enagement category, alongside Everton and Macclesfield Town.

PNE's 'Generation Deepdale' season ticket campaign is shortlisted in that category, and full details of the nomination and the success of the campaign can be found here.

Finally, the club's community department, the PNE Community and Education Trust, are up for the Community Club of the Year (all other leagues) award at tonight's award ceremony.
