The Preston North End Community and Education Trust at Preston North End is seeking to appoint an Education Tutor to expand on its education provision.

The chosen candidate will support the Trust's education provision - which provides post 16 education for students studying a Level Two and Three Diploma in Sport and Exercise. 

You will develop an already strong post 16 educational offer and manage the current cohort of students, taking responsibility in disciplinary and attendance issues, manage referral situations and progress reports. 

The vacancy is also looking for somebody who will train, coach and travel with one of our teams as part of the games programme that is timetabled into the students' schedule - helping to fulfil our fixtures in football and Futsal.

The role will require the candidate to be educated to Degree level in a sport related field who either has a post-16 teaching qualification, or is working towards one (qualification must be achieved during employment.)

Although the role is currently part-time (0.6), there is a strong possibly that the position will turn into a full-time role in the near future.
