The Preston North End Community and Education Trust, the official community department of PNE need your help in winning a funding grant which will allow the Trust to improve the lives and well-being of over 50s in the area.
Centred around the Trust's current walking football initiative, in partnership with Heartbeat and the Lancashire Football Association, the Trust will engage more than 50 adults aged 65+ in weekly activities with aims to:
• Improve physical and mental health of disadvantaged seniors across Lancashire
• Relieve isolation of seniors living on low incomes and/or living in rural areas of Lancashire
• Help senior adults develop an enhanced sense of purpose and empowerment
• Improve social cohesion by bringing communities together
The Trust cannot fulfil its aims alone, and are relying on you - the supporters to back them and help them win the grant which will help benefit hundreds of lives in Preston.
