PNE boss Alex Neil has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship manager of the month award for September.
Neil's side were unbeaten throughout last month and went into the international break sitting in sixth place in the league.
North End put on some impressive performances in September, and were 3-0 winners over league leaders Cardiff City at Deepdale earlier in the month.
That was followed up with back to back away wins against Birmingham City and Hull City, with PNE picking up a total of 12 points from six games in September.
The gaffer faces competition from Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce, Norwich City's Daniel Farke and Bristol City manager Lee Johnson.
The judging panel is made up by former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman, EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th October.
