Callum Robinson Agrees New Contract

23 October 2017

North End forward Callum Robinson has extended his contract with the club until at least the summer of 2020.

The Lilywhites’ No.37, who signed a permanently from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 after three previous loan spells, recently surpassed 100 appearances for the clubs and has already scored 21 times.

The Northampton-born 22-year-old, who scored the winner against Hull City last month, has put pen to paper on a contract that lasts this season and the next two, superseding his previous deal which would have run out at the end of next season.

Speaking about signing the contract he admitted that the club was a great place to be at the moment, he said:

"I'm really happy to sign a new contract, I think we are going in the right direction, we've got good players and a good squad and I'm looking forward to the future.

"The gaffer has come in and it's been really good so far, results wise and with training, he's getting the best out of everyone and hopefully he can make me a better player."
