PNE midfield duo Ben Pearson and Alan Browne have been nominated for accolades at the North West Football Awards.
Ben Pearson is up for the Championship player of the year award, with Alan Browne nominated for the rising star of the year award.
Pearson was a stand out player for the Lilywhites last season and picked up the club's young player of the year award at the end of season awards.
Browne has also been impressive in the middle of the park and earned himself a call up to the Republic or Ireland senior squad earlier this year, making his debut against Mexico on 2nd June.
Pearson faces competition from Blackburn Rovers defender Derrick Williams and Wigan Athletic's Dan Burn.
There are 20 players shortlisted for the rising star award including Browne, with players from all leagues including the Premier League nominated.
