Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has been called up to the Wales senior squad for the first time by Chris Coleman.
Maxwell has been in fine form for North End this season, keeping six cleansheets in the first ten games of the season.
The 'keeper travelled with the Wales squad ahead of the European Championships last summer, but until now had not been selected in Chris Coleman's squad.
The 27-year-old has been called up as one of thee 'keepers, alongside Wayne Hennessey and Danny Ward for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers next month.
Wales travel to Georgia on 6th October before hosting Republic of Ireland in Cardiff on 9th October.
