North End made the trip to Humberside on Tuesday night, looking for their first ever win at the KCom Stadium against Leonid Slutsky's Hull City.
The Tigers, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, have a wealth of top flight and international experience at their disposal and will be looking to build on the point they picked up at Reading at the weekend.
For Alex Neil and his side, they come into the game full of confidence, looking to continue their recent run of form, which finds them fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table.
The two sides last met at Deepdale at Christmas 2015, with Paul Gallagher scoring the only goal of the game to give the Lilywhites the win, after the honours had been held by City in the game at their place earlier in the campaign.
