Join The Junior Whites For A Junior Journo Day

22 September 2017

Junior Whites will be learning all about what it takes to be a sports reporter as part of tomorrow's matchday club!

From 12.30pm, members of the only official Junior Supporters Club will be given an introduction to the wonders of sports reporting and the trials and tribulations of the industry before watching highlights and taking notes from a previous North End game.

From there, they'll then pretend to interview a PNE player on the game they've just watched on camera, with Junior Whites given the chance to imitate the player and the interviewer on the game they've just watched.

A quick bite to eat for our Junior Journos will follow, before the group head up to the game to cheer on Alex Neil's side.

However, the fun doesn't stop there as all Junior Whites at the matchday club will be given the chance to enter a match report competition. Here, members are encouraged to enter their match report on tomorrow's game after the game with the winning entry being published in the official matchday programme!

The matchday club costs an extra £10 per child which includes hot food, drink and their ticket. Please note that young supporters must be signed up as a Junior White to enjoy the matchday club experience.

If you would like to find out more about signing your young PNE supporter up for the Junior Whites, you can do so from as little as £5 for the whole season. click here to see what's included in the package and to find out more.
