PNE boss Alex Neil has been awarded with the LG Performance of the Week award by The League Managers Association.
The LMA’s five-man panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, has determined that the award should go to Preston North End for the impressive 3-0 victory against Cardiff City on Tuesday 12th September 2017.
The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,000 competitive matches in professional football.
The gaffer will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LG Performance of the Week trophy in a presentation to commemorate the result.
