The Lilywhites will look to go into the international break on the back of an unbeaten month, as they take on Sunderland at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.
Simon Grayson brings his new side back to his old stomping ground, looking to ignite the Black Cats’ season, after a difficult start to life at the Stadium of Light.
But an expensively assembled squad, filled with internationals and Premier League experience, the Wearsiders are certainly not in a position currently, their quality would suggest and therefore the Lilywhites know how tough a game they can expect.
There is also a return for last season’s player of the season, Aiden McGeady, Tyias Browning and Billy Jones, who have all played for North End in recent seasons, but for Alex Neil and his side, they will be concentrating on their own game and looking to further enhance their current league position.
