Squad Photoshoot For 2017/18 Students

11 September 2017

Say cheese! The students of Preston North End stepped up for their head and team shots last week, just one of the many perks included when studying at North End.

The photoshoot saw all students wear the new kit which dons the logo of the PNE Community and Education Trust for the camera with new recruits posing with their team for the first time at Deepdale.

As well as proudly wearing Lilywhites colours for the photoshoot, students will also represent North End at regional and national tournaments in 11 a side and Futsal leagues, combining classroom based study with training and a full games programmes.

All students studying with us are currently studying either a Level Two or Level Three Diploma in Sport and Exercise, or alternatively they may be studying a Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development with the University of South Wales.

Learning from fully qualified tutors and coaches off and on the pitch, we welcome post 16 students who have a passion for sport and are looking to gain a career in the industry.

Our carefully selected modules allow students to sample a variety of fields within the sport industry with potential career pathways including; sports development, sports science, sports medicine, sports coaching, sports nutrition and much more.

It’s been a brilliant start for students on the pitch with our male side recording a 5-3 away victory against fierce rivals Blackpool in the first game of the new season with goals from Declan Evans, Jonny Hazel, Jack Mckitterick, Jack Carysforth and Brendan Burke sealing the first three points of the season at the first attempt.

Although we are underway for the academic year, there’s still time to continue your education at Preston North End.
If you’d like to represent North End against the likes of Blackpool, pose for your headshot in the new kit and study at Deepdale Stadium, there’s still a place for you on the team.

To arrange a meeting with our education team, you can get in touch with them by calling 01772 693309 or email community@pne.com now.
