Young Trio Set For Loan Spells

8 September 2017

Three young Preston North End players are going out on loan to gain experience of first team football.

Melle Meulensteen, who signed his first professional contract this summer, has joined Lancaster City on loan until January.

Meulensteen will join his teammates at the Dolly Blues ahead of this weekend's game against Shaw Lane at Giant Axe.

Lancaster were winners of the Northern Premier League Division One North last season and are now competing in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Second year scholars Oscar O'Neil and Myles Mason will join Bamber Bridge and Sutton Coldfield Town FC respectively on a month's work experience loan.

O'Neil, who captained the U18s last season, will go straight into the squad to face Colne this weekend.

Mason will be available for Sutton's trip to Hednesford Town on Saturday afternoon.

Good luck to all three players during their time on loan at their respective clubs.
