Preston North End vs Leeds United Match Preview

9 April 2018

The Lilywhites are back under the floodlights at Deepdale on Tuesday night, welcoming visitors from across the Pennines in the form of Paul Heckingbottom’s Leeds United.

When the two sides last met it was North End’s first away game of the season, when, despite having ten men for a large chunk of the game, held on for a point and were in fact unlucky not to come away with all three in a goalless draw at Elland Road.

This time around the game is being played at the business end of the season, with Alex Neil’s men looking to earn three points, something their recent displays have deserved.

The manager could have a full squad to choose from, should Daniel Johnson be fit after illness, and with the fourth game in 11 days, he will have the option to shuffle his squad if needed.
