Striker Sean Maguire has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for March.
The Irishman has been in scintillating form since he returned to the side after a serious hamstring injury.
In his first five games back for the Lilywhites since October he scored five goals in March, becoming the club’s leading goalscorer this season and providing another attacking threat for manager Alex Neil.
Maguire is up against stern competition for the accolade, with Middlesbrough’s Patrick Bamford, Millwall’s Shaun Hutchinson and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic all nominated.
The judging panel consists of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th April at 6am.
