Alan Browne insists PNE must put Wednesday night's defeat to Norwich City behind them, with a trip to Derby County next up for the Lilywhites.
North End travel to Pride Park on Saturday afternoon, and the Irishman is targeting all three points as Alex Neil's side look to bounce back with a win on the road.
Speaking to iFollow PNE ahead of the clash with Frank Lampard's side, Browne said: "We have to dust ourselves down and go again, we knew it was tough two fixtures coming up away on the road.
"Three points is the maximum we can get out of those games now so hopefully we can go and turn it around on Saturday.
On the Rams, he continued: "They have a new gaffer, a new philosophy and they have probably changed their style of play, they will have their tactics and we will have ours and hopefully we can come out on top on the day.
"He [Frank Lampard] has had a fantastic career, he is obviously new to management so we will be hoping to take advantage of that come Saturday."
With plenty of players pushing for a start, Browne admits the manager could freshen up his starting Xl for Saturday's trip to Pride Park.
"This time now is perfect for squad rotation, we have seen the strength in depth in the team against Morecambe. The gaffer changed it around completely, the boys went out and I think any one of them could have stepped in on the following Saturday.
"The competition for places at the moment is sky high and there will be boys knocking on the gaffer's door to get in now."
