Preston North End will host fellow Championship side Middlesbrough in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Former winners of the competition David Seaman and Joleon Lescott made the draw live on Sky Sports, with North End playing their second home game of the competition.
The tie will be played week commencing 24th September and full dates and details will be announced in the next few days on the club's official website and social media accounts.
The tie could see Jordan Hugill make an early return to Deepdale, following his loan move to the Riverside from West Ham United in the summer, the striker having scored in their second round win over Rochdale on Tuesday night.
