Hibernian Sign Daryl Horgan On Permanent Deal

11 August 2018

Preston North End have agreed the transfer of winger Daryl Horgan on a permanent deal to Scottish Premier League side Hibernian.

The Irish international joins the Edinburgh club for an undisclosed fee and subject to international clearance could go into Neil Lennon’s squad for their game at St Johnstone on Sunday.

Horgan, 26, joined the Lilywhites in January 2017 following a successful spell with Dundalk and made his international debut a few months later.

He made his North End debut in front of a full house at Deepdale against Arsenal in the Emirates FA Cup and went on to make 44 appearances, scoring four goals, in the next 18 months.

His final appearance came as a substitute in the home win over Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the new season.

Everyone at Preston North End would like to wish Daryl all the best in his new career north of the border.
