One Hundred Packed Pages For Derby Day

30 August 2018

This Saturday’s edition of The One And Only is packed full of interviews and features to keep you reading for days!

Our main interviewee is loan signing Lukas Nmecha, whilst Declan Rudd talks going vegan, Ben Davies discusses being a badminton champion and we also have Chris Maxwell, Alex Neil and Tom Clarke!

On top of that we have two former players to have worn the white of both teams, in the form of John Thomas and Neil McDonald, who reflect on their respective times at the two local sides.

We have features including a chat with the youth team’s midweek hat-trick hero Ethan Walker about his influences in the game, plus your submissions on our #GenerationDeepdale photos page – remember to submit your photos to feature in the programme by emailing

Speaking to this weekend’s The One And Only, No.45 Nmecha says he wants to enjoy his season at Deepdale.

“The Championship is tough, it’s a lot different to U23s football and something I am getting used to.

“I feel like I have played quite well considering I am new to the Championship, I have still got a lot to learn but I feel like I will improve a lot here.

“I have got plenty of time in my season here to get better and help North End, then I will go back to City at the end of the season and see what happens.

“There is no point looking too far forward – it’s about enjoying the moment. And winning!”

To read more from the England U21 forward and plenty more in our 100 pages of perfect-bound content, get your edition of the matchday programme from the ticket office from Friday afternoon, or from inside and outside Deepdale on matchday for just £3!
