Preston North End vs Stoke City Match Preview

17 August 2018

Our second home league game of the season sees the Sky Sports cameras roll into Deepdale as we take on Gary Rowett’s Stoke City in a 5.30pm kick-off.

The Lilywhites have won their first two home games of the season, including Tuesday night’s triumph over Morecambe in the Carabao Cup, and will be looking to keep up their 100 per cent record against the Potters.

City meanwhile have faced tough opposition in Leeds United and Brentford and picked up a solitary point so far, but will be looking to kick-start their campaign in PR1.

Both sides have plenty of competition for places, with Alex Neil and his Stoke counter-part both looking to find their best team, with the season still in its infancy.

For all the build up to the game, check out our stories below, or have a listen to this week’s edition of the PNE Podcast, featuring a fan favourite from both Deepdale and the Best365 Stadium; Ricardo Fuller.
