Ryan Ledson will miss PNE's next three matches after his red card against Leeds United in the Carabao Cup.
Ledson was given a straight red card on 29 minutes for a challenge on Lewis Baker and the midfielder will now miss North End's next three games after his dismissal for 'serious foul play'.
The 21-year-old will sit out the Championship clashes with Bolton Wanderers, Reading and Leeds United, and will return in time for the trip to Bramall Lane on Saturday 22nd September.
Darnell Fisher will miss the next round of the Carabao Cup after picking up his second booking of the competition against Leeds United. The defender received a yellow card in the first round tie against Morecambe and will now miss the third round tie which will take place the week commencing 24th September.
The third round draw is set to take place at 7pm on Thursday 30th August.
