Our young Lilywhites sealed their place in the fourth round with a 3-1 penalty shootout win over Charlton Athletic, having drawn 2-2 with their Category Two opponents in 120 mnutes.
Jack Baxter and Ethan Walker were on target in the initial 90 minutes, both of their efforts also coming from 12 yards, before goalkeeper Jimmy Corcoran saved two efforts from the visitors in the decisive spot kick lottery.

The youth team have another crucial cup contest in store this weekend as they welcome Bury to UCLan Sports Arena in the the Youth Alliance Cup northern quarter-final, with an 11am kick-off.
