Goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely is to leave Preston North End after taking up an opportunity to join Premier League side Crystal Palace in the same role.
The former Republic of Ireland international custodian joined the Lilywhites in October, but has agreed to re-join former boss Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park, who he worked under previously at West Bromwich Albion.
In an interim period Academy goalkeeping coach Jack Cudworth will move up to work with the first team goalkeepers at the club, whilst manager Alex Neil decides on the long term plan in that area of the coaching staff.
