Get Fit With PNE’s Football Sessions For Females

Fulfil the aims and goals from your New Years Resolutions and get involved in the multiple sessions hosted by the Preston North End Community and Education Trust.

If you’re female, looking to get fit in 2018 but not interested in doing it the conventional gym membership way, we have sessions available for all ages which tick all of the boxes.

Perhaps you no longer can commit yourself to 11 a side football but are still looking to participate in the game on a less competitive basis. We host weekly female Futsal sessions every Tuesday from 8pm until 9pm. Futsal is a fast thinking and fast paced technical game of football which improves technique and ball control.

However, if Futsal’s a bit too quick and technical for you, and you’re after something a little more lighter, we also host women’s only Walking Football sessions which welcome females of all ages, every Thursday from 6.30pm until 7.30pm which are also hosted in the sports hall at the community training centre.

A slow paced version of football, Walking Football is a non-contact sport and anyone who sprints, jogs or runs whilst the ball is in play will be penalised.

Not only can you get fit and enjoy yourself with these sessions, it’s the chance to make new friends and reunite with old ones.
