After taking part in PNE’s 5-1 FA Cup win at Wycombe Wanderers last weekend, Paul Huntington is now focused on taking all three points in Saturday’s game against Millwall.
The Lilywhites travel to The Den for the first time in almost eight years, with North End sitting just three points outside of the Play-Off places.
Speaking to iFollow PNE, ahead of the trip to South East London, the defender said: “We’ve been on a good run. Overall, we’ve been happy how we’ve performed as a group. It was a good win at the weekend.
The 30-year-old has been a pivotal figure in defence for PNE this season, and he spoke about what to expect of Saturday’s opponents.
“It’ll be a physical game, they like to be quite direct and have been good at home this season. We know all about the atmosphere going there.
“I thought we probably deserved to win at home but away from home it’ll be a different type of game, so we’re definitely not underestimating them." He added.
“I know they’ll be up for the battle and I’m sure we will be.”
Over 1,300 North End fans will travel to The Den on Saturday, and Huntington hailed the fantastic travelling support.
“The more backing we can get the better, the fans have been great this season,” he said.
“Away from home they’ve been brilliant, following us everywhere. Us as players really appreciate that and hopefully we can put on a performance and send them home happy.”
