AFC Fylde v Preston North End Match Preview

13 July 2018

The Lilywhites make the short journey down the M55 to visit Mill Farm for the very first time to take on Dave Challinor’s AFC Fylde on Saturday afternoon, with a 3pm kick-off.

Alex Neil’s side face their second pre-season test against a side that last year reached the National League Play-Offs and who will be looking to impress against a near neighbour.

The manager could give Ryan Ledson his first run out in a North End shirt, after the summer signing missed the 7-0 win over Bamber Bridge due to a slight knock, but the Liverpudlian has been back in full training this week.

The team, who will wear their new all yellow away strip for the first time, will otherwise most likely see all the squad again split across two halves as they face their last run out before they head over to Ireland for a training camp.

Once again iFollow PNE will have full coverage of the game. Guy Clarke will bring you live match coverage from 2.45pm alongside Graeme Atkinson, where you can watch the game if you are a subscriber; a monthly subscription which gives you access to all the pre-season games is available to UK subscribers for just £4.49. For overseas subscribers who have signed up for a season pass, you can find the link to watch the game in the match centre as usual.

Tickets for the game remain on sale for PNE fans. There are both seating and standing space available. There are no concessions prices available, just adult and under 16 pricing, with adults in the seating areas paying £15 and on the terraces it is £12, and it is £5 for under 16s in either seating or standing.

North End fans will be housed in the South Stand Terrace for standing and seated in Block A. There are 1,000 standing spaces and 169 seats. Standing fans enter through turnstiles one and two and seated is three and four.

Disabled seating, is very limited, but AFC Fylde can accommodate wheelchair users on the front row of Block A and the gates have disabled access and disabled toilets in the away concourse.

The easiest way to buy is by purchasing online, where fans should visit www.afcfylde.co.uk, click on the tickets tab and follow the simple process.

Fans wanting to book online will need to register and you can print your tickets at home for free, which will email a PDF of the ticket over to you, alternatively you can choose to collect on the day.

Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the ticket office, although it is advised to buy in advance to prevent any potential delays/queuing.

Please note that free onsite parking at the stadium is available, but limited. Once the free parking is full, the overflow carpark is available at £5 per car.

For those travelling by train, the ground is just a ten-minute walk from Kirkham station.

If you arrive early, don’t miss the opportunity to have a drink in Bradleys Sports Bar located at the ground, recently voted the best sports bar in the UK, where both food and drinks are very competitively priced. See www.bradleyssportsbar.com for more information.

For any enquiries please call AFC Fylde on 01772 598855 and ask for Gary.

Full match coverage on the website and social media will be available, with our team live at Mill Farm throughout the game.
