Manager Alex Neil and his side have their first run out of the 2018/19 pre-season when they make the short trip to Bamber Bridge on Saturday.
The game at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium is a 12.30pm kick-off to allow supporters time to get away to see the World Cup quarter-final between England and Sweden after watching the Lilywhites in action.
North End, who will wear the new third green strip for the clash with Brig – who were promoted via the Play-Offs at the end of last season – will have the chance to give the five summer signings their debut in PNE shirts.
Ryan Ledson, Michael Crowe, Jordan Storey, Andrew Hughes and Graham Burke could be in with a chance of being involved for the first time.
The manager has no long-term injuries to deal with, unlike when he first arrived at the club, when skipper Tom Clarke was amongst those unavailable to him.
Leigh Doughty takes the whistle for the game, where tickets are priced as adults £8, concessions £5, children aged 12 to 16-years-old £1 and children 11-years-old and younger are free of charge if accompanied by someone aged 17 or over. Juniors not accompanied by an adult will be charged the concession price.
Entry can be paid on the turnstiles on the day at Brig, however, the Deepdale ticket office also have a number of tickets that can be bought in advance from the club, either in person or via the ticket hotline, 0344 856 1966.
We will once again be broadcasting all the pre-season games live on iFollow PNE. Jonathan Breeze and former PNE midfielder Graeme Atkinson are on commentary duties this weekend and will be on air from 12.15pm.
