PNE U18 have another tricky pre-season game in store this evening as they take on Colne’s senior side at the Sovereign Play Stadium.
The North End side will be mainly made up of Academy players, although the likes of Connor Simpson, Michael Howard and Charlie Lyons, all of whom have already represented the U18 side in pre-season, could feature again in East Lancashire.
Nick Harrison’s youth team have beaten Morecambe and Grimsby Town before most recently drawing with Rochdale at the weekend in their three summer friendlies to date.
🎯 | Jerome Jolly has made a fine start to pre-season with a free-kick goal in each of #PNEU18’s two friendlies so far this summer.

Colne are sure to provide a stern test of the Lilywhites having beaten Burnley’s U23 side 2-1 in their last outing on Saturday. Among their ranks is former North End scholar, Leon Creech.
The match will be played at the Sovereign Play Stadium, Colne, BB8 9SF. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for juniors and are available on the night.
