Limited Places For NCS Summer Trip For Year 11 School Leavers

18 July 2018

Ahead of this month’s NCS Residential trip, places are now limited for Year 11 School leavers to join us on an exciting and unique adventure!

Now that the GCSE exams are over, it’s now time to think about how you’re going to make the most of the next couple of months off, and a perfect way to get the best out of your summer is signing up for Preston North End’s NCS Summer Programme.

Kicking off on Monday 30th July, the NCS Summer programme sees participants spend time away from home at a residential trip away at Mount Cook Derbyshire to take part in a whole host of activities – from archery to canoeing before returning back home for the weekend on the Friday.

The second week will be hosted at the University of Cumbria from Monday 6th August until Friday 10th August where you’ll learn to live independently with other members of the programme before completing your social action project a week later.

Government backing means that it costs just £50 per person and sometimes cheaper which includes all meals, travel, accommodation and activities for the full two weeks representing great value for money for students. Bursaries are available on a case by case basis.

If you’d like to get involved, there remains just a handful of places to join us on what promises to be a life changing experience, so email NCS@pne.com or visit here to register an interest or find out more.
