In the event of England reaching the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals, the kick-off time in the Bamber Bridge friendly will move.
England face Colombia in the last 16 on Tuesday night in Russia and if they are successful in the knock out game, they will then play either Sweden or Switzerland in the last eight at 3pm on Saturday 7th July.
In the event of that being the case, the game at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, that was due to kick-off at the same time, will be brought forward with a 1pm kick-off. If England do not qualify for this stage, the game will remain as a 3pm kick-off.
This will be the Lilywhites’ first friendly of the summer, one of six in preparation for their Championship season, which begins at home to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday 4th August.
