Preston North End Primary Stars World Cup Writing Competition

5 June 2018

Children of a primary school age are being encouraged to step into the shoes of an International Footballer who plays for Preston North End in the latest PL Primary Stars Competition organised by the PNE Community and Education Trust.

The Preston North End Primary Stars World Cup Writing Competition is offering primary school children the chance to imagine themselves as a PNE first team player who has just received their first international call up to represent their country in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Using the template provided, in no more than 500 words, put into words your emotions, feelings and experiences in the build up to your first international game, ending as you walk out onto the pitch to represent your country.

Due to the half-term, we have extended the deadline to Tuesday 12th June to submit your entry, with the winner and two runners up invited to interview one of our Preston North End first team players who have also played for their country during the 2018/19 campaign.

The top three places will also receive a box of 100 Panini stickers, whilst every entry will receive a 2018 Panini World Cup sticker book!

Each entry will receive a 2018 Panini World Cup sticker book, and entries can be posted to the club, marked FAO Harriet Creighton Levis, PNE Primary Stars Writing Competition, or dropped off at Preston North End, Sir Tom Finney Way, Preston, PR1 6RU. Alternatively, entries can be handed to your head teacher at school.

Make sure to fill in your name, age and school in the template provided, and the very best of luck!
