Preston North End are delighted to announce that the club has been nominated for the Sales, Sponsorship and Marketing Award at The StadiumBusiness Awards 2018.
The club’s nomination has come after the introduction of the GAME Pods in all three home stands at Deepdale, the first of its kind in the UK.
Working alongside community partner GAME Digital and YSS, the club has worked to create a better matchday experience for all home fans at Deepdale, with the Pods offering supporters the chance to play against each other with the latest FIFA on a matchday – and the unique and innovative idea has been acknowledged by the StadiumBusiness Awards, the first industry awards for the stadium sector, by the stadium sector.
Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheStadiumBusiness said: “TheStadiumBusiness Awards is about recognising leadership, innovation and achievement in the delivery, operation and management of sports facilities globally. Since 2010 we have given awards to some of the top venues from around the world and this year will be no exception.
“Our expert panel have come up with an amazing shortlist of nominees for thesecategories and we think it’s going to be tough for our Judging Panel to choose who should win.”
North End will now be part of a final six which includes the likes of FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich with the award ceremony taking place at Emirates Old Trafford on 13th June.
