For the first time in his entire time as Preston North End manager, Alex Neil could have a full squad available for selection for Tuesday night’s clash with Bristol City.
Darnell Fisher returns after a two match ban, after collecting ten bookings for the season and he could come into the reckoning at right back.
Skipper Tom Clarke has also returned to training after a knock ruled him out of the last few games and he too could be close to a return to the squad for the clash with Lee Johnson’s Robins in PR1.
Sean Maguire made a dramatic return to action in Saturday’s Gentry Day win at Bolton Wanderers, scoring two goals in the final 15 minutes to give the Lilywhites the three points and he will come into reckoning for further involvement under the floodlights.
The manager has a number of options available should he wish to freshen the squad, with John Welsh and Daryl Horgan not in the 18 at the weekend and with them, Clarke and Fisher back, there is the opportunity to make changes if required.
