It will be the 50th time the Lilywhites have faced the Owls in league action when we head to Hillsborough for this Good Friday clash.
It’s also 129 years to the day since the ‘Invincibles’ completed their impressive double achievement, but it is the current crop of North Enders who are looking to write their names in the history books as they look to chase down the teams in the Play-Off spots.
Our hosts for this Bank Holiday clash have had a change of manager and a change of luck of late, with Jos Luhukay starting to get some of the steel city side’s key men back, with the likes of Fernando Forestieri, Barry Bannan, Tom Lees and Sam Hutchinson all returning in the last few weeks.
This means it will be a tough test of Alex Neil’s side as they look to continue their impressive away form and look to make it four wins in the last five games, increasing the pressure on Middlesbrough and Derby County, currently occupying the last two Play-Off places.
