It’s getting close to that time of year where year 11s are starting to prepare for their GCSE’s.
But we’re also at a crucial time where students need to start to prepare for what they’ll be doing in September, and if you’re looking to progress your education and your career in the sports and leisure industry, Preston North End have it covered.
The education programme at PNE is hosted by the Preston North End Community and Education Trust and offers post 16 students the opportunity to continue their studies at a professional football club with a level two or three diploma in Sport and Exercise.
Here, the courses combine classroom based modules with regional and national futsal and 11-a-side competitions as a representative of Preston North End.
Whilst our level two Diploma acts as a stepping stone, our level three Diploma is the equivalent to three A-Levels with previous students going on to study at University.
Our unique and bespoke programmes allow students access to exclusive and practical work based experience that only a professional football club can offer.
If you're in Year 11 as of this year or above and unsure of your next career path, we're already recruiting for September 2018.
Interested? Speak to our coaches and tutors about PNE's education programme this Monday 19th March from 6.30pm at the community offices which are based at the back of the Alan Kelly Town End and you could very well be wearing Lilywhite next season!
If you’d like to register an interest or find out more, you can do so via our education page here, which also tells of more about the Foundation Degree we also offer at North End.
