Preston North End will host Premier League side Burnley at Deepdale as part of this summer's pre-season schedule.
The Lilywhites will host the local rivals on Monday 23rd July with a 7.45pm kick-off, as both sides step up their preparations for the new season.
With North End scheduled to start the Championship season less than two weeks later and the Clarets set to begin their Europa League campaign later in the week, it could prove to be an entertaining encounter between the two sides.
The match could also be the first chance supporters will get to see the club's summer signings at Deepdale, including new recruit Ryan Ledson.
Ticket details for this fixture will be announced in due course.
The club can also confirm that North End will travel to Bamber Bridge in the first pre-season game of the summer on Saturday 7th July, 3pm kick-off.
